Views and history

This route takes you along part of Mallorca’s north coast, heading towards the southeast of the island.

Nearing the town of Felanitx, a view opens up before you of the numerous vineyards that surround the town, where wine has been made since ancient times. Felanitx lies at the foot of the Puig de Sant Salvador, which rises up to an altitude of 510 metres. At the summit is the historic hermitage that dates back to the fourteenth century, which is worth a visit. There is also a large cross surrounded by a magnificent viewing point from where you can contemplate the vast plain on which the town was built.

The return journey takes in towns such as Manacor, as you head further north, and then borders much of the coastline until you reach Pollença.
